I completed the campaign and put it way - it was fun, but I prefer playing the mods that were made for it, that can't be played with the remastered version. I bought it and for me it was a great nostalgia rush (I had way too many hours on it back when it was released). I can't speak to the console version, since I am on PC. The endgame in resurrected is about grinding, because one can not play any of the fantastic mods that have been made over the years for vanilla D2. The campaign has about 20 hours of play until endgame, unless you try to skip as much of the campaign as possible to get to endgame - incredibly stupid in my view, but there are a lot of people that only want to play the endgame. Ive even coordinated with 2 friends to select all the same criteria, and no luck.

It has only found a party twice out of 40+ sessions Ive attempted to find/host. Stutters when running, random server disconnects, teleport targeting is poorly done, cant join friends games, and party finder doest work. The folks doing the remaster are continuing to work on it, and new content for it is not off the table. Diablo 2 resurrected is terrible on switch.
